Once again, in its quest to advance Space Science and Satellite Technology Applications in Ghana, our Space Science Technology Laboratory is holding its annual International Conference on Space Science and Satellite Technology Applications. Dubbed SSSTA2016, this is a two-day Conference to be held from the 31st of May to the 1st of June 2016. The theme is “Establishing STEM Pipelines for Space Science and Satellite Technology Applications in West Africa”.

This year’s conference will see some leading scientists such as Prof. Jimmy Adegoke (University of Missouri, U.S.A. and WASCAL), Dr. Richard Damoah (GESTAR, NASA, GSFC), Prof. Antony Kinyua (Morgan State University, Maryland) and Dr. Ashilevi of the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute present on topics ranging of STEM Education to Climatology and Radio Astronomy.

The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Charles Ichoku also of NASA, GSFC, and the function will be chaired by Prof. Adomako, the director, GSSTI.
